Century Riverside Hotel Hue is 4-star international standard hotel forming a joint-venture between Hue Citadel Tourist Company and Crowndale International Corporation, each party’s contribution 50%.
From 1992 to 1996, the hotel hired Century International Group to manage. From General Manager to the Board of Directors all were the foreigners with the different nationalities such as: English, American, Australian.... In the early 1997, most of Board of Foreign Management stopped working and Board of Vietnamese Management carries on the work of the hotel. In 2002, Century Riverside Hotel became a member of Accor’s International Hotel Management Group.
Century Riverside hotel is located on the area wide 2 hectare at the center of Hue city along the bank of the picturesque, poetic Huong (Perfume) River - a most beautiful, attractive place of Hue city about the ecological environment to the tourists.
The hotel has 138 well-equipped guestrooms. From all the balconies, tourists will have the very relaxing moments when admiring the poetic Huong River after hours of sightseeing or hard working.
The network of 6 standard restaurants with full of the dishes from European, Asian, and Vietnam to Hue’s specialities is in accordance with every different decorating style and service. Riverside restaurant to the bank of Huong River is the main restaurant, which is able to serve from 400 to 500 guests. Citadel restaurant serves according to the kingly style; Boulevard restaurant serving grilled & baked dishes.
Garden restaurant with Vietnamese traditional architecture is very attractive. Tay Nguyen restaurant with the differently special items on the programme serves the Vietnam’s specialities, which are very attractive. Many services of unusual excellence as: Imperial Feast, Hue’s Folksong, Royal Court Music.... are a harmonious combination between the traditional culinary culture and the time-honoured figures of Hue’s music.
In order to satisfy all the demands of guests, the hotel has a system of all the kinds of entertainments such as: tennis, massage, karaoke, beauty salon, swimming pool, gymnasium, dancing, night bar, tea-room opening 24/24 hours.
The hotel has a system of the international standard conference rooms including: 1 big hall with the capacity 400 people and 4 medium-size rooms with the capacity from 80 to 100 people. All the conference rooms are well equipped, attending successfully to many conferences, workshops at home and abroad. In addition, there are clinic, fine arts stall, foreign exchange, truck group, and imperial boats serving the guests who go sightseeing on the river or visit the tombs.
The hotel with the enthusiastic, rich-experienced, professional staffs was awarded a lot of certificates of merit of the whole country and the province.
There is a suitable investment in researching and putting new kinds of services into practice; intensifying investing more material facilities in the hotel, upgrading the hotel from 4 to 5 stars, training and retraining the board of directors and the staffs to match with the hotel’s technology and facilities and satisfying all of the guests’ demands.
The tourist products must be a mixture of modern and traditional of Hue’s cultural characters; besides promoting marketing, searching for the more suitable and effective methods in expanding and exploiting the tourist market. In addition to the fast maintenance of the relationships with the home, traditional markets and agencies, the hotel is looking for the new markets and agencies in the richly-potential markets such as: MICE, conference guests, working guests and safari.
In the past years - the hotel develops ceaselessly about all the fields, remains the high turnover and profits and acheives the noticeable results from every field: polictics, economics, security, the material and spiritual life of the employees and the social activities. Therefore, in 2005 the President of Socialist Republic of Vietnam rewarded the award of Third-rate Labor Medal.

THE RESTAURANT AND BAR
Riverside Café Restaurant: This restaurant is an ideal place to meet with friends or business associates for a relaxing meal in a setting overlooking the Perfume River. The restaurant serves all dishes of European, Asian cuisine and Hue specialties.
Boulevard Restaurant: The restaurant is informal restaurant with relaxed atmosphere. A selection of barbecue food will meet all gourmets. Open daily from 03:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
Imperial Restaurant: This restaurant is especially designed as a private dinning room with royal dishes and royal dances. Enjoy the truly unique and delightful dining experience of Hue in the past.
Tay Nguyen Restaurant: This Restaurant is an open-air restaurant for up to 1,000 guests Right on a large nice lawn on the river, the restaurant receives all the fresh air and the cool winds. Tay Nguyen Restaurant specialty is Vietnamese cuisine, especially with Hue flavours.
Garden Restaurant: This is another open-air restaurant. An à-la-carte menu with a selection of both Western and Asian dishes is also available Enjoy food and the picturesque view of the Perfume River.
Café & Bar: Tyhis bar offers a wide range of cocktails, hot and cold beverages and light snacks. Open daily from 07:00 am to 10:00 pm.
