Halong Bay Ginger Junk

Just visited to a new junk in Halong Bay – The Ginger.

This new junk consists of 10 cabins including 2 VIP cabins (double bed, triple windows and nicer shower, can be connected to a twin room), well equiped with fire and water flooding alarms, life vest under your bed, air conditioning, inroom minibar, shower booth with hot water, 02 complementary waters and nice toilet amenities, in-house telephone. Normal room size is 14 square meters.

The junk has a very good tender boat that can transfer from the fartherst point in Halong bay to the pier within 30 minutes in case of emergencies.

Itinerary is different from normal routing that has made the trip in a private routing having no encounters with other tourist boats and other tourists in the caves:

Day 1: greetings by junk staff at the Halong pier and transfer 5 minutes by tender boat to the Ginger. Welcome aboard with drink and cool towel. 10 minutes briefing followed by key delivery.
Sea food lunch at 13h30
Visit to an island with beach for swimming. Continue to kayaking (optional) of lagoons in the Bat cave and Dark cave. Visit by tender boat to nearby fishing villages
Dinner at 19h00.
Evening fishing in the lagoons (optional). Overnight

Day 2: Taichi class at 7 followed by a short trek to visit Sung Sot cave
Buffet brunch at 9.
Checking out at 10h30 and arrival at the pier at 12h00

The company is expected to release 02 other new boats in Jan 2007 namely Jasmine and Violet boats, featuring totally 44 high classed cabins
