Program 2: Sapa Trekking Homestay & Fansipan Peak

Tour starts/finishes at Sapa center

Day 1: Sapa Trekking – Y Linh Ho – Lao chai – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Homestay (local lunch, dinner)

8:30 am today, our Sapa tour trekking guide will meet you at Sapa center
we start the trip from here to the village
First, we will go to Y Linh Ho village where you can see Muong Hoa valley, one of the most scenic valleys in Northwestern Vietnam. Trek slowly through a narrow road between two mountain ranges of Hoang Lien Son and Den Thang to reach the valley. It is farmland to quite a few ethnic minority groups and thus housing the largest colony of terraced paddy fields in the area.
Enjoy the stunning view of the imposing mountains and of the terraced fields’ soft contours embracing the hillsides, take photos then from your entry point to the valley, walk through the valley, and cross its other side.
You get into Lao Chai village of the Black Hmong minority people where you will have a chance to observe its inhabitants.
The trekking to the next village is home of the Giay people belonging to a very small minority group only found in the Northern highlands of Vietnam.

Enjoy rest and have lunch – at a local household
After lunch, continue hiking for 3 km over hills and through a bamboo forest.
A short stop will be made at a waterfall before getting into Giang Ta Chai village, home to the Red Dao ethnic minority people. Chat with villagers and observe their daily life activities.
Our private car & driver waiting for you here, transfer to the homestay.

You have an overnight at the local house (one private room)
First trekking day finishes at your hotel at about 16:00

Day 2: Discover Fansipan Mountain by cable car (breakfast)

Have breakfast at your hotel (hotel booked by Guest)
8:30 am: Our trekking guide waits for you at the lobby to start the day trip
This morning, we do a short walk to the Sun Plaza station.
Your guide will buy the tickets for you (tickets for Muong Hoa electric train, and Fansipan cable car)
Your guide will not go with you to Fansipan Peak.
In case you need the tour guide to escort you to go up there, please discuss, and pay for the entrance ticket/cable car ticket
Enjoy the Muong Hoa electric train to Fansipan Station,
Next, take the cable car up to the Summit of Fansipan, the highest peak of the Indochina mountains.
It normally takes people one or two days to reach the peak of Fansipan mountain on foot.
However, you will take the three-rope cable car system which carries you from the bottom to the highest point of the mountain in 15-20 minutes.
Fansipan cable car is kind of a modern three-wire cable in the world, the first time presence in Asia.

Distance from the Muong Hoa Valley to the peak is 6,2km long, a total of 35 cabins, passing 6 main pillars, each pillar away from the other 1 km.
Up there you can take the climbing train to the summit

(If you could not do it by walking – you can buy a climbing ticket on your own account from the mountain station, this ticket does not sell in advance, the visitor often takes priority to climb by enjoying that stunning view)
From there, you can enjoy the scenery and magnificent views of Sapa, admire views of Muong Hoa valley and Hoang Lien National Forest from above, and beautiful landscape of Lai Chau province.
You come back to the bottom, and meet our guide; we walk back to your hotel, 550 metres from Muong Hoa station to Sapa center.
The trip ends!
