Day 1 (Friday): Hanoi – Overnight train to Sapa (no meals)
At 20:30, pick up at hotel, transfer (no guide) to Hanoi Railways Station for 4 berth compartment train. Overnight in the train.

Day 2 (Saturday): Lao Cai – Can Cau - Bac Ha (B)
Arrive at Lao Cai Train station at about 06.30. Take a transfer to Can Cau market, where 6 hill tribes are there such as: Flowery H’mong, Phu La, Black Dzao… The local H’mong wear traditional costumes that are so gaudy and heavily embroidered that the Chinese, the French and the Vietnamese have nicknamed them the ”Flowery H’mong”

Overnight at basic hotel

Day 3 (Sunday): Bac Ha - Lao Cai - Overnight train Hanoi (B)
Visit Bac Ha Sunday only hilltribe market - Bac Ha has one of the most interesting ethnic markets in Vietnam and possibly everywhere in South East Asia: "Sunday is market day in Bac Ha, which is the occasion for the various local ethnies to gather in huge crowds to exchange the last news, gossip, shop, and eat a copious lunch". It was visibly a festive event. Continue drive to Lao Cai station for night train to Hanoi by 4 berth compartment train. Overnight trip.

Day 4 (Monday): Hanoi  Arrival (no meals)
Our car (no guide) will pick you up from the train.
Transfer to your hotel in Hanoi. Early check in and breakfast at hotel not included. Trip ends here.
